Our members are people who raise puppies that will serve as Assistance Dogs. This includes Guide, Service, Hearing and Seizure Response Dogs. Almost every major Assistance Dog Provider is represented by our members.
We got our start in 1994 as loose knit group of about ten people. There are now almost 150 members in The United States, Canada, Germany, Scotland, New Zeeland and Australia. Members communicate via the Puppyraisers Yahoo!Group. Through the list, members have the opportunity to support one another and share ideas that foster inter-agency cooperation.Come in and visit. See through our eyes the heartbreak of giving back a puppy you have come to love as your own; and the joy of watching that puppy change a life.
